Current Job Openings

Perceptive Innovations is continuing to grow in 2026, we are ramping up our four new programs to develop hardware and software system demonstrations over the next two years, in very exciting areas. We are variously in early research through detailed design in these efforts now, and have immediate openings for several positions for EE, CE/ECE, and CS engineers. In these positions, you will be working as a team to develop cutting-edge augmented reality applications for next-generation digital night vision. This involves small size, weight, and power implementations that use the latest CPU, GPU, ISP, and DSP systems-on-chip (SoC), alongside low-power optimized FPGA-based video processing pipelines. These systems will perform multispectral fusion of visible and thermal imaging sensors and tactical augmented reality information, creating near-eye displays with the lowest photon-to-photon latency, all while tracking the real time dynamic motion of the users head movements moment-to-moment.

In another effort, we use the latest Nvidia DGX Spark AI Desktop Supercomputers (NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip with a Blackwell GPU and a 20-core Arm CPU, 1 petaFLOP) to process synthetic aperture radar imagery in real time, and plan to use the embedded AI cores to add automation to this process as we tackle the problem of moving objects. Finally, in our fourth current effort we will be developing a very high-end RF transceiver module, with significant FPGA development required on the latest large Versal technologies.

All told, the efforts will entail custom printed circuit board and flex cable designs and fabrication, digital design, FPGA SoC development (VHDL, Verilog, and associated development tools), embedded low level control software development on bare-metal or RTOS (head tracking, GPS, user interface, I/O), embedded linux software development, image processing RTL pipeline, graphical co-processing (GPU, VPU, ISP, DSP), streaming digital RF using 100Gbe, Nvidia CUDA, and more. AI applications on the horizon.
